Same place, new name and face
For years, Gateway Aquatics was a staple for fresh and saltwater hobbyists from both sides of the river. Then, in 2023 an electrical fire devastated the shop.
While heartbreaking, it also offered an opportunity for long-time owner Chad Smith to reimagine his future and present the opportunity for two long term employees to continue the retail legacy! (and the future of the space).
Since that time, we transitioned from trusted staff to the new owners of STL Aquatics.
The storefront has been completely remodeled, and is once again open for business. If you’ve driven by (right behind Oberweiss on Telegraph Road), we invite you to stop in and see our unique selection of fish, aquariums, and supplies.
